Top Ten Books People Have Been Telling Me That I MUST Read

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Hey! Long time no.. participate, Top Ten Tuesday. If you follow my blog you might have noticed that it's been two or three weeks since I've even done a Top Ten Tuesday post. That's insane and it's the longest I've gone without doing one since the start of my blog. Life has just been really busy lately and it felt like every time Tuesday rolled around it was too late for me to do one. I've missed this little community and I'm so excited to be jumping back in this week. The topic for this week is "Top Ten Books People Have Been Telling Me That I MUST Read." The little blurb that goes with this topic says that you can have it be books that people say are so "you" or just books people recommend a lot in general. I'm going with the latter since I don't really think anyone has ever told me a book was super "me." So, this is a list of ten books that I may or may not own that I feel like everyone always tells me I need to read. But, anyways.. I'm rambling. Let's just get into it!

  • Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
  • Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
  • Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
  • Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

  • Splintered by A.G. Howard
  • More Than This by Patrick Ness
  • Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz

  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • Looking for Alaska by John Green
  • The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

What books do people always tell you to read? Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? Which ones should I read ASAP?! Let me know in the comments!

  1. I really want to read The Darkest Minds at some point. I loved Eleanor & Park and Splintered. I really enjoyed More Than This but it is such a confusing read. I hope you enjoy these books when you get to them.

  2. I've read all of these except The Darkest Minds!! Woot. Hehe. I feel like I've read a lot of the famous ones now. ;) lol Anyway, I love so many of these, but The Hunger Games is probably my favourite. Anna/Lola are seriously cute and quirky and Splintered is OMG worthy. I hope you try some of them eventually, they're honestly definitely worth it. :)

  4. I keep meaning to read FanGirl and Eleanor and Park -- although right now I'm reading the most recent release, Landline. It's great. Great list by the way. Here's mine.

  5. I loved the Hunger Games, but every other person you run into will probably say similar :) I really need to read Splintered and Anna and the French Kiss as soon as I possible can! I've heard so many good things about both. Great list :)
