Hello, everyone! I'm sorry I skipped Top Ten Tuesday last week!
I'm sure no one noticed, but nevertheless I was busy, couldn't think of anything good to write for that topic and I was just coming out of a massive reading/blogging slump. All of that put together just made it impossible for me to write that post. However, I'm here this week! And, I'm really excited about this week's theme; The Top Ten Book Covers I'd Frame As Pieces of Art! I love pretty book covers (doesn't everyone?) and didn't have a very hard time putting together a list of my favorites. The way I interpenetrated this theme was as if I were, say, decorating my new room/house and had blown up versions of these book covers. If that were happening, these are the ten book covers I would LOVE to frame on my walls because they're all absolutely beautiful and perfect. Also, I've not read all of these books and of all the books I have read on this list, I didn't necessarily enjoy them. This list is solely based on the covers. And, apparently I really love blue book covers.
1. These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner
2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
3. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
4. The Archived by Victoria Schwab
5. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz
6. The Little Prince (although, I would frame Le Petit Prince) by Antoine De Saint-Exupery
7. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
8. Cinder by Marissa Meyer (The other two are just as gorgeous as well.)
9. The Here and Now by Ann Brashares
10. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
What is your favorite beautiful book cover? Tell me in the comments! I'd love to hear from you!
Ah, I love the covers of Rainbow Rowell's books; they're so lovely. I almost put THESE BROKEN STARS on my list--it's so preeetty--and I love the covers for the Mara Dyer trilogy, Archived series, and Lunar Chronicles. Thanks for stopping by!
