Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Hi there, everyone!! Welcome to yet another quick edition of Top Ten Tuesday. This week's theme is "Top Ten Classics." We're meant to take the topic and adjust it however we want to. (Like, top ten classics I want to read, have read or anything else like that.) I'm going to take the not-so-creative approach and stick with the "Top Ten Classic Novels I've Read." However.. I've not read that many classics, so I cut the list down to nine rather than ten. Also, I want to point out that these are basically in order with Gatsby being my favorite. I'm rambling a bit too much now, so I'm just going to jump right into it. Feel free to leave your favorite classics in the comments! See ya next week!
Love seeing not one but two Shakespeare titles on your list! Love Shakespeare!
ReplyDeleteI've read Siddhartha (though my favorite Hesse novel is Demian), The Divine Comedy, The Great Gatsby (freaking overrated!), and Frankenstein. I seem to remember reading some of Peter Pan when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteSiddhartha! What a novel! I loved that philosophical journey so much! I must admit, I have not read Frankenstein yet. But I want to!

Fantastic list! :-) I really enjoyed Romeo and Juliet. I really need to read The Little Prince. I hear such good things about it!
ReplyDeleteI didn't let myself put any plays on my list because it would have been all plays! Great Gatsby and Frankenstein are on my list as well.
ReplyDeleteI love Frankenstein, it's an amazing book. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I still have never read Little Prince. I think I really need to read it. I really need to read Gatsby. I have read the Shakespeare plays though.
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
Oh my goodness, Peter Pan should have totally made my list of Classics that I want to read!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT!
