Book Blogger Love-A-Thon || Mini-Challenge #3

And, just in the nick of time I'm here for the third mini-challenge of the Love-A-Thon. If you missed my first Love-A-Thon post it's probably because I posted it so, so recently! If you're interested in seeing my interview and two first mini-challenges, you can find my super-post here.

But, that's not what this post is about! The third mini-challenge is Mad Libs! Everyone knows how Mad Libs go. Alexa and Katelyn have provided one for this challenge and here's how mine turned out!

One day, I was relaxing with Four. Out of the blue, a balloon came out of nowhere! It was so purple, round and ...purple. At first, we were afraid, we were petrified, but we ran. We hopped on an elephant to make our getaway.
As we escaped, we turned up the radio because We Can't Stop came on and made me freak out. Everything was extremely smooth sailing until an armadillo appeared in the middle of the road. We swerved to avoid it, but while Four stayed on the elephant, I got thrown onto my side in the woods.
I couldn't get up, and felt mostly dead as I lay there staring up at the trees. What was I going to do? I heard a muffled sound among the leaves, and felt horrified. Surely, this was going to be my end. As my eyes fluttered shut, the last thing I saw was a head of blonde hair and grey eyes.
When I woke up again, I was on a bed. My body hurt a whole lot less, and I could sit up. There was a pencil and stuffed animal in the room, along with french fries and a mango smoothie. The door suddenly opened to reveal Draco Malfoy, a concerned look on his face. I blushed and averted my gaze, but he twirled and said, "Don't be shy. It's okay."
He came over to sit by me, and we started talking after I told him my name. We chatted about reading, theater and singing and realized we had a ton in common! I thought he was sexy and couldn't help feeling a little swoony.
Just as he reached out for my hand, the door crashed open and in came Gatsby. "Don't let him charm you away, my love!" He yelled, running at Draco. They each had spoons in their hands and began to fight. "Stop!", I yelled, feeling so confused. They didn't listen to me. Before I could intervene, Draco fell to the floor and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"What was that?" I asked, staring at the empty space. Gatsby dropped his weapon, and came over to me. "Magic, but you are safe now, cupcake." He hugged me close, and I suddenly knew that this was the real deal and not just a dream.

Just as What Makes You Beautiful started playing in my head, I woke up. I cursed my stinking luck. Why had it only been just a dream?

Welp, there is it. A lovely dream involving some lovely boys. I hope you enjoyed this challenge. Don't forget to use #LoveAThon on Twitter!

    1. Hahaha. Because clearly a spoon would be Gatsby's weapon of choice, come on. :P

  2. That is a very purple balloon, haha :p Escaping on an elephant is cool! I'd love to have a mango smoothie and cupcake is adorable as nickname.
